I originally messaged Riley for a build, but he had a 150 gallon built that was outside of my price range and I asked about it and he worked with me on price and made it happen. During the process of planning a build he was easy to work with and was up front on how long it would aprox take. As for the pit I bought he did not ask for a deposit up front to deliver, which at that point knew he had to be legit. Riley drove over a hour and helped me place in my backyard and was not a easy task, without his help It would have been an ordeal for me.. As a person Riley is a solid dude, genuine nice person who kept his word and even delivered sooner than expected which is always nice.

     So, now onto the pit, It is a 150 gallon offset double door. I was coming from a Chargriller Grand Champ XD, and I have another cheapy verticle so I have basic skills at fire management. The first cook was ribs and brisket. Ribs had a great smoke flavor that made you just scarf them, I've had a lot of rib cooks and there was clearly a quality difference compared to the Grand Champ xd, brisket came out excellent on first try. Chicken Quarters I did next the skin came out crispy and even which I absolutely could not do on any other smoker I've had, I actually cook majority chicken quarters on the smoker as for my daily eats, I never get sick of them.

     The smoker is beautiful, performs better than I could have hoped for, although I have not cooked on another smoker like this to compare, Riley has a way he made the throat opening from Firebox to cook chamber that is unique and perhaps why the smokes come out the way they do, you have to check his firebox style out. I have zero buyers remorse and don't even think about my 'next' smoker anymore... The saying buy once cry once is very fitting for smokers... If your in the market for a new smoker give Riley a call and tell him exactly what you want and I guarentee you won't regret it, Riley is just a awesome person and will respond quickly and answer all questions . Customer service to me is important when buying, smoker Companies that don't reply back pre-build surely won't post payment... Call Riley
